Rooting and Integrating Through Dance and Song
A project by Koreoproject that brings art to the Lecce Prison through singing and dance workshops for inmates. An expressive journey culminating in two performances on May 30 and 31, 2025, where music, video, and movement intertwine to tell the story of the resilience of the olive tree and the musical roots of Salento, featuring songs by Domenico Modugno reinterpreted by Luca Gemma.

Produced by Koreoproject with guest artists and inmates from the Lecce penitentiary; a project awarded the regional grant “Promoting Culture in Puglia.”
The performance took place at the Lecce penitentiary in June 2021.
