The Majesty of Wood
A multidisciplinary show where different artistic languages of live music, singing, video, and dance merge in a fusion between nature and art, narrating through images and the movement of the dancers the power of olive wood. Although severely affected by the Xylella bacterium, the wood rises to new life, transforming into a work of art and with renewed vitality fuels the performance.
The live music and songs tell of other important Salentine roots, those of Domenico Modugno and his songs from the Salento period, reinterpreted by the skilled hands of the composer and singer Luca Gemma.
